Brand-New Diatonic Harmonicas

" Here are listed the main diatonic harmonica manufacturers. Each of them has something of special to offer. Different cover design, comb material (plastic or wood), reed thickness succeed in satisfying even the most exigent player."

Hohner (Germany)
Apart from standard Richter tuning, Hohner offers the following additional tunings: Country tuning, Natural Minor, Harmonic Minor, Steve Baker Special.
Additional information on available harmonica brands can be obtained looking over the following beautiful and essential WEB Pages.  Lee Oskar (USA)
Lee Oskar was the first to introduce successfully a completely modular harmonica system as well as the classic additional tunings, Melody Maker, Harmonic Minor, Natural Minor.
Ben Felten (France): Ben's page contains "the French Harmonica Players page" with the profile of the most influential French players; detailed information on instruments, methods, tunings (yet under construction), etc. Suzuki (Japan)
It is the only manufacturer to offer a partially valved diatonic harmonica.
Mike Will (USA): One of the best informative harmonica resource on the net today. Almost everything you need to know is here, e.g., the only page I know dealing with the "Winslow' Discrete Comb". Good job. Hering (Br)
Hering reputation is growing steadily up. Now it is proposing customized tunings: i.e. you need a particular set up and they make it for you.
Adam Pritchard (England): many information on harmonicas, microphones, amplifiers, harp players, gig cases, electronic effects etc. Huang (USA)
Huang harmonicas have one of the best cost/quality ratio I know. They have just introduced a jazz harp "the improviser" tuning.
