Egidio "Juke" Ingala of Milano, Italy, is actively present in the Italian blues scene since mid 80's. He forged his playing by listening to the classic records of Little Walter, Big Walter Horton and George Smith. After a four year stint (1993-97) with The Dirty Hands, a blues root band which significantly contributed to make more European and mature the Italian blues genre, Ingala began a collaboration with the San Francisco guitar player Anthony Paule with whom has toured extensively in Italy and Europe. He has just finished a successful tour with the ex-Mighty Flyer guitarist Alex Schultz. Ingala has a thick, brass like tone and plays in the most demanding positions, i.e., I, II, III, fluently; his sense of time is impeccable and he owns a personal vocabulary of harp riffs.
